The Thai side continues to launch preemptive attacks on Cambodia in the areas of Ta Moan Thom Temple and Ta Krabei Temple, with continuous shelling from 3 a.m. to 5 a.m. This was stated by Ms. Mali Sujata during a press conference on the latest updates regarding Thailand’s invasion of Cambodian territory at 7 a.m. on July 28, 2025.

“Thailand attacks while simultaneously accusing Cambodia,” Ms. Mali Sujata said, rejecting fabricated information from the Thai side, which accused Cambodia of using long-range PHL-03 missiles to attack Thai territory. According to the spokesperson of Cambodia’s Ministry of National Defense, as of this moment, Cambodia has not yet used such heavy weapons to counterattack Thailand.

Contrary to the above accusations, Ms. Sujata noted that Thailand is employing such accusatory rhetoric against Cambodia as a pretext to justify their use of increasingly cruel and savage weapons to attack Cambodia relentlessly. According to the spokesperson, on July 27, Thailand used suicide drones, cluster bombs, and toxic smoke in the Phnom Khmaoch and An Ses areas, along with fighter jets firing multiple rockets at Ta Moan Thom Temple, Ta Krabei Temple, and several other locations within Cambodian territory, in violation of international conventions and laws.

The Ministry of National Defense demands that Thailand cease fabricating stories and spreading false information to deceive the world about their ambitions and intentions to further invade Cambodian territory. Cambodia has never engaged in such deceitful acts as Thailand has, nor does Cambodia have any ambition to invade others’ territory, as the Thai nation does.
